Where to start…. I’m British and my partner is French and lives in this area. The starter we ordered white asparagus salad, the asparagus was overcooked and stringy. We both agreed that the bread quality is poor. Food was passable but the meat (I had duck, he had veal) was tough on both accounts, dauphinois was good tho. No idea why people rave about the ice-cream filled profiteroles - not all that. We saw meals come out with chips that looked like frozen chips. Our waitress was rude by my British standard but also in my French partner’s standard - I think that says a lot. I won’t return as there are many beautiful restaurants in the surrounding areas with warmer welcomes...

We where travelling from the UK and staying at a local airbnb and had been walking with heavy backpacks for quite a few hours when a Mirage appeared infront of us, this lovely Restaurant, where although it wasnt opened, welcomed us and refilled our water bottles and gave us a delicious, much needed, cold beer!! It was only 9 minutes for our accommodation so we decided to book a table and go back for dinner!! We sat in there beautiful courtyard on a fabulous sunny evening, had a wonderful meal and cocktails wine and beer!! Wonderful staff, wonderul food and wonderful atmosphere!! Nous habitons à côté de ce restaurant. Nous y avons été pour des paniers repas pendant le covid. Depuis, on s'était dit qu'il fallait y retourner d'autant plus que les commentaires sont plutôt élogieux. J'y suis allé pour un déjeuner avec ma fille. Un peu déçu par notre expérience à tout les niveaux. L'accueil n'était pas très chaleureux. La demoiselle au bar/accueil nous a regardé des pieds à la tête. Pas réservation mais elle nous a trouvé une table. Service un peu long d'autant plus que je devais déposer ma fille à l'école pour 13h30. La salle est très bruyante, les tables sont assez rapprochées et on profite de la conversation des voisins. J'aime l'ambiance bistrot, bouillon mais ce n'est pas ce que je cherchais pour ce déjeuner en tête à tête avec ma fille. J'aurai préféré une ambiance plus calme et feutrée. Les plats ; bavettes et frites. Viandes sur cuites (voire grillée/ carbonisée à certains endroits) Profiteroles pour moi; plutôt bonnes. Fondant au chocolat pour ma fille. Ça a été.
