Shockingly rude service â unacceptable for Paris, especially the 16th arrondissement. I stopped by around 11 PM, at a time when the restaurant was still full of guests. I simply wanted to order a glass of wine, and perhaps something to eat if possible. However, I was refused in an extremely rude and dismissive manner.
As a restaurant director myself, I was appalled to witness such a complete lack of hospitality â especially in the 16th arrondissement, where one would expect a minimum of professionalism and class. Offering me a glass of wine to make a good impression would have been effortless. But these people clearly have no concern for their reputation and act like uneducated Neanderthals.
It left a deeply negative impression, and I will absolutely never return. This level of arrogance and ignorance has no place in the restaurant industry â or in Paris.
Just for comparison: In the restaurant where I work as a director, even when people arrive after service has ended and we are already tired, closing and preparing for the next day, if someone asks for a glass of wine â we offer it for free. We warmly apologize for not being able to welcome them properly at that time, and we always say: âPlease come back tomorrow, or whenever is best for you â weâll be happy to have you.â
Thatâs how you build loyalty. Thatâs how people come back. But to your restaurant, I will never return â not...
Read moreThe food is definitely a highlight, with well-executed traditional dishes that hit the mark. Unfortunately, the experience is let down by the (awful) service. The staff seemed indifferent, bordering on rude at times. My wine arrived when I was done with my starter, and getting anyoneâs attention felt like pulling teeth. Everything took far far too long, and I noticed the table next to me never even got their starters (which they complained about). Getting the check was sheer torture - asked for the addition 7 times (I counted) and staff just ignored me (âOui tout de suiteâ before doing something elseâŠ). One of my worst experiences -...
