We recently stayed here under very difficult circumstances, as our friend had sadly lost her home in the fires. From the moment we arrived, the manager offered us the most sincere, kind, and attentive care. Every single member of staff showed understanding and genuine compassion, and they went the extra mile to make us feel supported.
It was an unusual situation where kindness could easily be expected, but the warmth and care we received went far beyond, and it truly gave us a sense of security in a very unsettling time.

Nice antique wardrobe, large veranda overlooking the street (unfortunately it was too cold and windy to spend time out there in February). The mattress was very basic, but not too hard. The lunchtime set menu was a mere 21€per head... for a Michelin star restaurant. We started with pumpkin soup, steamed fish and then cheesecake. It may sound simple but every mouthful was delicious.
