We had heard of this restaurant about five months ago and we were really excited to try it. Although it was an hour and a half drive from where we live, it was well worth it. It was a beautiful drive into the middle of nowhere to find this hidden gem! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, until the moment we left, everything was AMAZING! We had the Côte de Bœuf and it was quite possibly the best steak we have ever eaten. A beautiful bottle of wine went perfectly with our dinner. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Fabulous cote de boeuf. Best tasting beef ever served with rock salt of the region and baked potatoes cooked in the hot embers of the fire. Absolutely amazing. Worth the drive up the winding road into the middle of nowhere.Hardly any English spoken but that's half of the fun 😄

Très bonne cuisine, très bon accueil ainsi que le service du serveur. Prend le temps de répondre à notre question sur les différents plats que nous ne connaissions pas. Le menu enfant n'est pas trop adapté pour un enfant de moins de 5ans. Le jambon grillé est énorme pour eux Le seul soucis c'est la longue attente pour obtenir nos plats. Une seule entrée pour une table de 6 personnes. Les plats ont dû arriver presque 2h après notre arrivée ainsi que les plats pour les enfants (ce qui était très long pour eux). C'est dommage de surbooké le restaurant lorsqu'il y a un manque de personnel... Nous n'avons pas pris la peine de goûter aux desserts malheureusement Bon courage à l'équipe des serveurs et serveuses qui font de leur mieux

Depuis des décennies, le Haut Doubs, c’est un séjour incontournable, deux ou plusieurs fois par an, selon. Et chaque fois, c’est passage à la Boissaude. C’était encore bien, mais un ressenti d’un « ton en-dessous » Belles entrées à base de truite fumé, mais déception d’un foie gras manquant de consistance et avec une majorité de graisse. Des couteaux inadaptés pour la bavette et ceux demandés en remplacement à peine plus efficaces. Il serait bien d’afficher les prix des suggestions sur l’ardoise dans la salle. Dommage que la salle du fond (âtre cuisson pdt) ne soit pas ouverte le midi Si cela pleut concourir à poursuivre une bonne réputation, d’autant que le rapport qualité / prix n’est pas modéré. Et comme on souhaite continuer...
