Bonne...

We were visting France from England, and staying about half an hour away from Audierne, near Qimper, where a French lady recommended this restaurant and very kindly called them to book us a table for Saturday lunchtime, so we could check out the lovely market and then enjoy a meal. The restaurant is a small building in a beautiful spot, perched on the edge of the coast, a couple of minutes outside the centre of town. The big pot of mussels and the Coco d'Agneau (Lebanese lamb) were both excellent (see pics). My wife was full, so I had a pudding on my own - a single, large profiterole with ice cream wrapped in fresh cream, and chocolate sauce. It was really nice. I'd defnitely...

hygienic problem...

it was a nice experience until the starter platter was served: nice ambience, service ok, great view of the sea.

when the starter platter was served, however, we lost our appetite: the salami was littered with fly eggs (no doubt about it) a clear sign that the kitchen has a hygiene problem. this MUST NOT happen.

we looked at the rest of the dishes with corresponding scepticism... the service didn't apologise, the food was charged in full and there was also no accommodation. maybe it was an isolated incident - in any case, we won't be...

On a adoré !
