Stopping at the Leo Resto Manzat rest stop and restaurant was the worst decision I have made in awhile. Hunger would have been more enjoyable than the ‘meal’ I had. If I understand it correctly, Casino, the low cost grocery store chain, operates this rest stop. The sign from the highway implied that it was an Italian style restaurant. If you served any of this food to an Italian, they would slap you and their grandmother would shame you for producing such poor food. From the barely cooked chicken sitting in water with slimy, uncooked skin hanging on, to the chunks of pumpkin with skin still on, suffocated in some unidentifiable ‘cheese’ sauce, this meal was a disaster! And expensive on top of it all! My stomach is so upset with me, it has decided to clamp down into a tight ball, to remind me for the next 3.5 hours what a poor choice I made! I have lived in France for 2 years now, and this is the worst meal I have ever had in France, and possibly my whole life! Even the gas station was 30centimes higher than other rest stops. STAY CLEAR, you have...
Read moreMost disgusting service station ever. We stopped for a little meal and to fill our gas tank. The gas was extremely expensive and the 50€ we spent didnt even fill completely our twingo's tank. About the meal, we got a pretzel that was weirdly sticky and the taste was not that good and a chocolate donut that was not too bad but i could feel that was there for a couple of days at the least, we also got a hot chocolate wich was good and a coffee that was indrinkable, it stinked so bad and the taste was indescribable, it smelt and tasted like dust and like a moka that is not cleaned for years and also 3 drink machines were broken. The workers were nice. The bathroom was very dirty and the soap was very stinky as well. I do not recommend to stop here, run away and find...
