The host works her socks off and is extremely happy and appreciative of your business/custom. Food was good and reasonably priced for France. As a UK traveller you'll notice that prices in France have increased post Brexit and you have to expect to pay more than you may have been used to. We opted for amongst other things, the prawn starter and ribs as a main. Both were well presented, tasty and worth the money. The host (owner of the adjoining Chateau) repeatedly checked on us despite being very busy. The internal surroundings are well worth a visit on their own, the taverne is stooped in history and you can imagine the nights had years ago and if the walls could talk......... If you want decent food at a decent price in amazing historical surroundings you won't be disappointed. Only downside and believe this is because the host is pretty much doing everything, the kids food came out way before the adults. (Hence 4 stars) would have been good to eat together to avoid kids then being bored watching us! Would visit again when in Limoges again. Give them a try!
