Le Trublion — Restaurant in Rodez

It is with a heavy heart that I need to inform the management that there is some opportunity for improvement in a couple of respects. It's sad because we live and work locally and we would like to send our clients here. But cannot yet...We visited this restaurant for the 2nd time in four years. This time I was disappointed because the service was terrible, the food worse: When we arrived, we were ignored for a long time, as though the server (a man) was new and perhaps confused or disorganized. He came to say hello and then disappeared forever. Typically it's a simple task to give the diners a menu or tell them you will be back. He served people right next to us, who had arrived after us! Why? A mystery.

Finally I decided to order from the woman behind the bar, who turned out to be quite nice (and normal). She took our order quickly and immediately and served us herself. We ordered two chicken dishes, one of them a salad and the other a "wok" dish. Both of them were 'off', poorly prepared and tasted bad--the chicken was tough and the topping (a type of batter with 'herbs and spices') was burnt. I hope and pray this was an off night and not the usual experience. I am looking forward to...

Absolutely abysmal service. Ordered and rec'd 2 glasses of wine. Enquired about dining and were advised that food would be available @ 7:00pm (1 1/2 hrs. away). Ignored by server from that point on. Spun out one glass of wine each until 7:00, then watched server eat her meal and continue to completely ignore us. Sat it out until 7:25, then decided that despite our previous enquiry, we were not going to get any food there. Went to the bar to pay for wine and were asked if we didn't want anything to eat. Replied that we had been ignored too long and were ready to leave. To cap it all, waitress tried to pull a "quick change" on me by accepting a €10 note, substituting it for a €5 note at the till and asking for €1 more for a €6 bill. I saw what was going on and insisted on my €4 change. Unkempt individual behind the bar didn't help to improve our opinion of the place. Avoid...

Une adresse a connaitre ! Superbe carte avec des produits frais et locaux,(beaucoup sont même bio) . Le burger végétal est une tuerie, avec un pain fait maison dont seule la Cheffe connait la recette... Plusieurs autres burgers de fous sont à la carte, j'ai hate d'y retourner pour les goûter tous !! 🤤 Elle propose également un wok vraiment delicieux. Pour terminer j'ai goûté à son mi-cuit au chocolat et à sa mousse, pour les fanas de chocolat comme moi ils vraiment valent le détour, sa tarte au citron meringuée est tout aussi délicieuse. Bref pour un tarif raisonnable vu la qualité des produits et de la réalisation, je vous conseille de vous y arrêter si vous...
