We were on our way back from Chenonceau on the buke trail and found this local eatery to be open by using Google Maps so we took a slight detour into town. We were immediately greeted by the owner and seated in the back. English translated menus were easily accessible using a QR code on the table. We ordered a local rose wine and some sparkling water. For the meal we chose the plat du jour, beef and onions, and the croque monsieur. The food was ok, but the beef could use more sauce for the pasta. The 2 cheeses on the croque overwhelmed the meager ham slices. The fresh lettuce with balsamic was the best.
