Some of the reviews were disparaging about this restaurant. They mentioned the rudeness of the staff and the quality of the ingredients.

So it was with a little trepidation that i entered. However, my fears were unfounded. The restaurant, is quietly authentic in its style and ambience. Sitting with a mug of Breton cider and surveying the decor and clientele, it could happily have been the year 1905.

We were greeted by intelligent and charming young waiter's, who were professional without being polished and weren't at all snooty about my ignorance of the French language.

The food was exquisite with a service that gave dignity to the table.

A very well deserved 5 stars and a recommendation to others to visit and be satiated...

Je laisse très rarement des avis sur Google mais là ce restaurant a besoin d’être signalé…

Nous sommes arrivés dans un endroit plutôt charmant, le restaurant est situé sous des halles ce qui donne du charme à l’endroit. A peine arrivés nous trouvons sur notre table un bon de commande et un stylo, nous en déduisons que c’est à nous de noté notre choix, pourquoi pas, mais une explication de la part du serveur aurait été la bienvenue. Nous choisissons nos plats sur une carte plutôt alléchante et notons sur notre commande. Nos galettes arrivent quelques minutes plus tard et le goût n’était déjà pas au rendez-vous. Je mange ma galette et là je fais une grosse allergie alimentaire. Ils avaient oublié de noté un ingrédient sur leur carte, ce qui peut s’avérer mortel pour ma part. Nous le signalons au serveur (très gentil d’ailleurs) qui est désemparé. Je gère tant bien que mal mon allergie, en regardant de plus près mon assiette je m’aperçois qu’en plus de l’ingrédient surprise un cheveux s’était glissé à l’intérieur de ma galette. Là s’en est trop, nous décidons de partir. Au moment du règlement, nous croisons le cuisinier qui croise notre regard sans s’excuser. En revanche au moment de l’addition on nous fait un geste commercial en nous...
