A sympathetic young couple runs this authentic eatery along the road leading west from Le Lac du Joux through France. I was served despite arriving late for lunch and presented with a delicious dish cooked on local mushrooms accompanied by a good white Burgundy. The wine list is unusually well garnished for such a modest place. A desert and an espresso rounded off the meal and I was told the secrets of the region by a local couple finishing their meal when I arrived. Very good value for money. Nous avons passé un excellent moment à l'Auberge de Val d'Amont. L'accueil y est particulièrement chaleureux et sympathique, ce qui met tout de suite à l'aise. Le repas était tout simplement délicieux, avec des produits frais, faits maison et provenant du terroir local. Mention spéciale pour le velouté de maïs, un vrai régal ! Le plateau de fromages du Jura était également exceptionnel, agrémenté d'une découverte surprenante : la gelée de vin jaune, qui a parfaitement sublimé les saveurs. Malgré la présence d'une tablée de 20 personnes, cela n'a en rien gâché notre expérience. Le service est resté irréprochable, attentif et efficace tout au long du repas.
