We searched for somewhere with a plat du jour and found Café de la place to have good reviews and it was brilliant!
The food was delicious, we had the plat du jour which was a stuffed pepper with chips and salad, some had chocolate fondant to follow I had a selection of cheese. Absolutely amazing!
The waitress Aurore was very welcoming, kindly made an effort with us as we speak little French, she made the visit 1000 times better and informed us of a village gathering there the next day.
Highly recommend this lovely little family owned place.

Hopitality was great, service was excellent, diner was simple (a rich soup with lots of vegetables, main a Mont D'Or cheese from the oven with garlic and lots of bread and for desert warm chocolate cake with a shot warm housewine with a slice of orange)....

Sono capitato in questo Villaggio della Francia rurale per lavoro,avendo del tempo sono entrato nel locale per un caffè, un buon caffè gustoso e caldo. Dopo aver sbrigato le mie commissioni nel villaggio ho deciso di rientrare in questo locale, l'ambientazione e il menù scritto sulla lavagna erano molto invitanti. Su consiglio del proprietario ho preso il peperone ripieno. Ho fatto bene ad ascoltarlo era veramente buono, gustoso e saporito. È stato servito accompagnato da patatine fritte e insalata e la porzione era veramente abbondante. A seguire ho bevuto un caffè.
Il proprietario e il resto della squadra sono stati molto gentili ed accoglienti. Se tornerò in questo Villaggio ci farò tappa...
