Meurette — Restaurant in Saint-Gaudens

We enjoyed five small, imaginative and perfectly formed courses for lunch, early in March 2024. We were advised that four courses would amount to a normal meal in quantity. You can choose the number of courses, with a different price accordinly. We decided that, as we had made a special trip, we might as well try all five courses, which I think set us back about €53 or €56 each. Total bill for two with about four or five glasses of wine was €140. So it's a restaurant for gastronauts or those celebrating a special occasion. For each of the first three courses there was a fish option and a meat option so my friend and I chose one of each and ended up sampling everything! Without exaggeration: Absolutely brilliant.

Do yourself a favour and have dinner here. Take your time and enjoy the pride and dedication of Jean Baptiste and his family and staff. It's worth it. Even if you have to wait a little longer (the problem of finding staff is real here as well). The people they do have are kind and very professional.

Nous y somme allé pour le 31/12 au soir Pour commencé nous sommes rentrés dans une salle qui ne donnée pas limpression que l on venais faire un repas de reveillon n y fleurs n y deco aucune table plus ou moins décorée n y lmeme la salle , on avait l impression de rentrer dans une salle tout a fait ordinaire, juste couverts sur la table , des feuilles de papier avec ecrit le menu et boissons , acceuil moyen , chauffage à l économie juste à regarder dans la salle plusieurs personnes avaient soit des pulls ou pour certains des vestes , pour m à par qui ne suis pas trop frileux j ai eu froid toute la soirée, très mal assis , ensuite un menu sur la carte attrayant mais une fois servi déçu des portions et des mélanges de saveurs qui pour moi des fois m ont paru..... , le plus bizarre c est qu à chaque assiette servi on nous faisait l éloge des aliments qu il y avait tout comme le vin , à 85 € le repas plus 35 € soit 120€ Si ça ce dit resto , gastronomique hé bin y a encore du boulot L an dernier nous l avons fait au grands buffets à narbonne pour 100 € pers , à volonté ainsi que le champagne, on a n à prix et bu 5 plus deux bouteilles de vin , pour ce qui connaisse au point de vue choix ,qualité quantité gout et déco vraiment la rien a dire et a payer un réveillons a ce prix je ne retournerai pas à meurette ça c est sur , vraiment abusé , ils ont du faire un sacré bénef car ça ne vallait pas 85 € J espere que pour eux ils ne font pas pareil les week-ends On l aurais fait à la maison cela aurait beaucoup mieux s en aucun problème
