We stayed at this property in the middle of a heatwave and the rooms were like hot boxes with no ventilation or air con which is normal in many Paris properties.|The setting is lovely and many rooms have views of the forest.|The property needs a full renovation however as rooms are very dated and so are bathrooms. We stayed a few times over the month due to our trip continually being extended and Roman at the front desk was so incredibly helpful. To be honest the hotel would be lost without him.|The suites are really lovely and spacious and seem to have been refurbished as The bathroom was more functional too.|Staff in the restaurant seem overworked and really unfriendly with the exception of the lovely gentleman who worked at breakfast and seemed to have been at the property for years.|Food was ok, we were expecting something better but breakfast was great.|Although hot food is not included and no one tells you this as there was no menu! They simply asked what we wanted so we assumed it was free.|We had some average experiences with housekeeping. Dirty towels were taken from the floor and refolded and hung up??|All in all we had a pleasant stay but this is not a normal Relais and Chateaux property although you can't complain as the rates are great. |Thank you for all your...

Again, the staff was superb at every level and their efforts created a wonderful ambience. It's an easy Uber ride into Saint-Germaine-en-Laye (or a pretty, 30-minute walk if you feel like it), and the town is a fairy tale kind of place with huge, wonderful gardens, a castle, excellent restaurants, and charming side streets. I felt very much at home and I would...
