Pizza d'Ange... — Restaurant in Saint-Jean-d'Angély

We’re from Ireland and we’ve been travelling around France, Spain and Portugal for 2 and a half months. We love pizza but have been very underwhelmed until we visited Pizza D’Ange. The restaurant, service toilets all impeccable. But wow… the pizza. The base is light and delicious. The toppings were all top quality and delicious. This is an exceptional pizzeria. Lovely house wine too. Excellent value for excellent food. Well done chef and waitress.

Sept 2025: we’re back! En route to Spain. We simply had to ensure Pizza D’Ange was part of our 2025 trip. €50 for 2 amazing pizzas, 1 dessert (panecotta), coffee and 2 glasses rosé and a 50cl pichet of red wine. Great service, superb food and...

A recommendation from friends. We reserved a table for 6 earlier in the day as we knew it would be quite busy. I'm pretty sure that every table was full & people were coming in all evening to pick up their take-away orders. The pizza menu had a multiple of choice, including salmon, which is my favourite. Fresh Italian ingredients that gave the most balanced flavour that I've tasted on a pizza in France. The dessert menu was limited, but of exceptional quality and taste. Une superbe pizzeria à la décoration ancienne et moderne à la fois, musique d'ambiance en fond parfaite.

Le service est de haute qualité, très aimable, lorsqu'il y a une erreur (ce qui est plus que rare sur la nombre de fois que j'ai mangé là bas) c'est un des deux cuisiniers qui vient en personne s'excuser. Service rapide qui conviendra aux plus pressés

Le choix de la carte est varié,rempli de pizzas aux produits de très bonne qualité qui saura vous satisfaire (ma préférée est la 4 fromages)

Je n'ai rien de négatif à vous dire, je vous souhaite tout le meilleur pour votre entreprise et je continuerai à venir et à faire venir mes proches.
