Restaurant Pizzeria La Vanoise — Restaurant in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne

The owner (lady) simply yelled at us.

Story: After 30mn of waiting, we nicely asked the waitress if our meal would be ready soon. She said "no", we politely said "ok, no problem, we'll wait". But a minute later, the owner (lady) came with our 2 pizzas and went into an absolute amazing rant. "never talk to my waitress any more", "you even didn't book the table upfront", etc. And left us in total shock. Being french myself, i fully understood all she said.

Val Cenis is full of nice, warm and welcoming places (i'm having winter holidays every year there), but this place is simply a DISGRACE for this resort. Go somewhere...

The waiter did not speak English and started talking French which we did not understand. He started talking French with his friend in the table in front of him and was probably making jokes because everyone was laughing.

Nous étions à l’époque tombé dans ce restaurant pas hasard et la surprise fut telle que cette année nous y sommes retournés. Vous me direz sûrement mais Arthur pourrais tu éclairer ma lanterne sur cet endroit ? Mais pas de problème ! C est un restaurant chaleureux avec de très bons produits, tout est fait maison de a à z ainsi que le desserts. Il ne sont que deux dans le restaurant à savoir un cuisto et la responsable. Autant vous dire qu’il faudra être patient avec environ 50 minutes avant d avoir nos plats mais les saveurs ne sont que plus délicieuses et agréables en bouche. De plus, le cadre est très agréable avec une petite musique qui nous ferait danser dans le restaurant si on a avait un peu trop bu de génépi. Enfin bon allez y c est très agréable. En revanche petit bémols pour la tartiflette qui ne nous a pas conquis. Le retour du restaurant était tendu avec des problèmes intestinaux ( je vous fait pas de dessins). A...
