Buffalo Grill Saint-Lô — Restaurant in Saint-Lô

Only getting 1 star as 0 is not possible. For a restaurant that specialises in meat and grill, you would have thought they would know how to cook steak,especially expensive fillet Totally lost for words, just terrible

We asked for medium rare, it came to 4 out of 8 totally black and burnt on the outside and inside was dark brown and extremely chewy. I did attempt a bite, but unfortunately, I sent it back.

The waitress then asked if I liked it pink in the inside, even though we asked for medium rare, to which I replied yes please. They replaced it, only this time is was not medium rare but totally rare and still mooing, by this time everyone else had almost finished, so I decided to just eat it. However, unfortunately they forgot the peppercorn sauce. I notified the waitress and she said she go and grab it, 10 mins past and still no sauce, again I politely asked the same waitress who told it was coming, another 10 mins passed, still no sauce and now very cold steak and chips, plus all this time the waitress was clearing and setting up tables. Again I complained but to another waitress and explained the whole story, she apologised and got the sauce immediately and replacement chips. The only positive was the second waitress and the fact I had a free Irish coffee at the end.

Very over priced too! Not the type of service you'd expect from a family spending over 350 euro! We had to order from an app on our phone and...

So we arrived taken to a table, tried to order 2 x chilli con carne and a bottle of Cotes du rhone didn't have it,.so ordered chicken and chips and beef kebab and a different wine The chicken was cold and the beef was so tuff I couldn't chew it, the waitress was abrupt and unhelpful, we ended up with chicken burger and a cheese burger, the chips were cold and the rest was very medioca. There was no apology for the poor quality of the food or service, we have been going to Buffalo grills for many years and always have had good food and service. This was the last night of our holiday and through France and Spain we have had good food and service. For an American who has lived the last 3 years in Germany, the food is not that great. Ordered a mojito and it came with almost 2 tablespoons of sugar at the bottom. The ribs, while tender were nothing to great. The fries were very nice. Servers were nice, however they never gave our 3.5 yr old son a goodie bag that all the other kids recieved. We decided to just leave and consider it marked off our bucket list with no need to ever return. I am always upset once I eat at a restaurant and realize once I get the food I ordered that I could make it better at home and cheaper.
