A wonderful surprise! We visited this little town looking for coffee and a small bite. But the lunch menu in the window was too enticing to pass up. We only ordered two entrees and a cheese plate and all three were top notch! The foi gras pate- best I’ve ever tasted! And the egg parfait was a perfect combination of flavor and texture. Such a beautiful restaurant, very nicely decorated and feels cozy. We arrived when the kitchen had already closed, but the chef was so kind and offered to make us burgers. They were some of the best burgers we have ever had!! The meat was seasoned perfectly, it had another thin slice of meat with cheese on top, and came with sweet cabbage and a croissant bun. I can’t think of a worse experience! Let’s start from the fact that it took us about 15 minutes to get a menu and another 40 minutes to get the food. I ordered a dish that did not have any specifics on it in the menu and it came with a few ingredients that I do not eat.
