Another wonderful dinner in this amazing establishment! The dishes in this quaint restaurant are sublime. The chefs are so talented and they create dishes in the same league as any top restaurants in major cities.

For aperitif, we started with a lavender kir royal. The amusement bouche was a melon gaspacho with green apple bits. We had the cheese cake entree which was not only beautiful but delicious. The lamb main dish was extraordinary with its confided lamb, served with half of a small aubergine and tiny potatoes.

The desserts are always original, creative and amazing!

I recommend this place for a casual lunch on the terrace, for a romantic date-night or a special occasion. In fact, any occasion to eat here is a good occasion! This is our favorite restaurant in this entire region,...

Restaurant is in a pretty village.

Went to a barn dance there and it was fantastic. Great entertainment, great fun and superb food. Drinks were cheap too and in the back of the visit found a new wine shop (after drinking the wine all night)!

Will definitely be going back next weekend for lunch or dinner.

Update: Went back for lunch on Saturday. We had the €39 per head set menu and the only way to describe the meal is fantastic. The carpacchio Maigret d'esturie popped with flavour, the steak was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the crumble desert was superb. One of THE best meals we've had in France.

They also do a la carte and a €49 set menu and I'd be surprised if they were any less spectacular. We will definitely be going back whenever...

The Presbytere restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the region. If you're visiting the Gironde river estuary, I highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner. It's located away from the coastal tourist traps and will take you back in time when French cuisine was at its zenith. Warm welcome, rich decor, and an elegant dining room create a stage for the exquisite and inventive cuisine that is changed according to the seasons. Our group of 4 (American, Swiss, Danish and French) was also impressed that they serve local products. The head chef, M. Prunier oversees a young dynamic team and we enjoyed discovering each dish which were like small masterpieces. We're looking forward...
