Generally a great spot - beautiful terrace and setting overlooking the parkland and river. My gripe is around pricing - we stopped briefly for a couple of drinks and nibbles - the drinks' prices aren't advertised, so we were surprised to find out the 2x Pints, 1x bowl of chips and 1x espresso came to €25. On questioning, it transpired the Pints were €9 each - which is pretty extortionate...London kind of prices! Lovely setting, good food, poor customer service. A lesson on how to make you feel unwelcome. "If you want food you need to sit over there next to the restaurant. No not that table it is reserved" (Stupid British cyclists couldn't spot a miniscule scrap of paper). The we sit down and food was good, quickly served. Asked for Badoit mineral water. Response "Non, San Pellegrino". Not a "sorry" the whole lunchtime despite making us feel like complete numpties. While leaving heard another British couple getting similar treatment. This Bar/Brasserie is located right on the river at Limeuil in a lovely location. Bar-snacks & drinks were served right next to the river, and the Bistro served good quality food across the road at the establishment when we were there, but orders were accepted while we relaxed by the river with a drink, then we moved across the road to eat at the table they reserved there for us.
