Auberge de la Nauze — Restaurant in Sarlat-la-Canéda

We ate in this hotel 20 years ago and loved the food so much we wanted to return. It took a long time to have the opportunity to return but it was so worth it. The food is still as amazing and it now has extremely comfortable bedrooms. Air conditioning quiet and wprked superbly, room always cool. My husband is very fussy on the bed and he loved it. After three weeks travelling around France we loved the large bathroom and the luxury of having a bath. The breakfast is traditional French, crusty toast bread, croissamt, jam and coffee. The bedrooms are extremely clean and well equipped, but we heard a British man complain about the decor; it is different to UK hotels, but you are in a gorgeous setting, in a traditional auberge in France. We loved it. The owner is so kind and friendly too. It is ideal for exploring the Dordogne....

Nous avons réservez pour le week-end de Pentecôte, du samedi au lundi matin.|Le lieu est magnifique, reposant , très calme.|Pour la partie hôtel , c’est bien , propre, lit confortable , salle de bain juste ce qu’il faut. Par contre sur le site ils disent , sèche cheveux.... il n’y en avait aucun, télé... oui effectivement il y a une télé , petit petit modèle, il a fallu la régler car il n’y avait aucune chaînes de programmées... et une fois réglée et bien au bout d’un moment ça ne fonctionnait plus ... bref ! |Le petit-déjeuner est correct, le café est nickel pour le petit-déjeuner, pain et croissant avec confiture et jus d’orange .|Nous avons pris le repas du samedi soir, la par contre nous avons trouvé très pompeux !!! cher et pas vraiment très bon.|Nous avions pris riz de veau , joliment présenté mais la sauce |Était de la sauce maggi toute prête , le riz de veau était bon toutefois . Le dessert était franchement pas bon , omelette norvégienne au café , je n’ai pas trouvé le goût du café et la partie biscuit n’était pas du jour. Et alors le bouquet final a été le café !!! Vendu pour un espresso !!! Réchauffé et tiède !!!!!|Cherchez l’erreur !!! |Le personnel , serviable mais la patronne qui sert les petits déjeuners pas vraiment...
