Unfortunately not a good experience. We came on recommendation but very disappointed. We don’t speak French but can always make ourselves understood and consider ourselves to be nice people, there were four of us and we just wanted three soups and one pate which the nice little waitress seemed to understand but we ended up with three soups and four pâtés, the toast appeared about half an hour later, the water we ordered was given to the next table. Two beers were ordered with two Camparis with orange, that was fine but when we ordered the next round Fawlty Towers was made to look like the Ritz. The Campari came with no Orange, don’t know what the Vodka and Coke was.....definitely not Vodka, an extra beer appeared and we were told there was no Lager but there was plenty inside the restaurant. There were lots of other little problems but don’t wish to appear too picky. The last thing was trying to pay the bill......that took half an hour after about four requests. As I said we don’t speak French but we felt we were being penalised...

Michelin 🌟 quality.
The staff were really friendly, accommodating and so helpful serving us and helping us understand the menu. Nothing felt like a hassle.
Would thoroughly recommend here if nearby. I would definitely like to return in the near...
Read moreThis is a truly amazing place to enjoy a high quality, creative, and explosion of flavours dinner! It is a place to return over and over again. It’s my fifth time at Table de Jean and it never disappoints. The portions are quite large for a nouvelle cuisine type style. You’ll get happily full with their 3 course menu. Staff if sharp and kind. The environment outdoors during summertime is lovely and relaxed. Indoors is equally lovely. A non pretentious environment for a straight to the point...
