A Piazzetta Café-Restaurant — Restaurant in Sartène

We've been there 2 times in August this year. Husband and I had the best meal, best service and atmosphere of the entire trip. Host ( we don't recall his name, maybe if you read this you will remember us :-) was super helpful and we engaged into talking about hiking around the Col de Bavella and shared a bit of our day activities with him. We actually tried to come back once again from Porto Vecchio one evening to say goodbye, unfortunately the restaurant was closed. The food was alright but I was expecting better.

For my burger, the bun was crunchy. The steak was a bit undercooked (I asked medium). The fries were a bit too soft given their big size.

My wife's pastas with porcini and truffle oil (the most expensive dish) was served as a rather small portion. She was a bit disappointed by her meal.

Great atmosphere, we felt very welcome. Serviceminded personal talking fluent English. We had ribs of veal and a hamburger. Best dinner in Corsica so far, marvellous veal done exactly as you expect french meat to be! The hamburger was magnificant as well( thanks chef) To this near by produced wine. We really recommend this place to anyone wanting a meal and a nice evening./...
