Hotel De La Poste — Restaurant in Sartène

I was not staying at the hotel but ate here and I have to say, drank a lot here too. You sit outside watching the swallows wheeling around and the mountains beyond. The hotel is run by such lovely people and after drinking a lot of local beer here I returned for tea. I had a boar stew with chestnuts which was an absolute delight, but served without the pretentious nonsense about 'local produce' you get across the island. You've never had pork like this before, believe me. Had coffee and er, one or two acquavitas too. Hotel-Restaurant pratiqué pendant 2 jours, début mai 2024. L'établissement est situé à Aullène, un village typique de la Corse caché dans les montagnes. Concernant la prestation, tout était parfait, que ce soit côté Restaurant ou Hôtel, ce dernier étant complètement rénové avec soin avec une vue magnifique qui fait plaisir d'être en vacances et qui tranche véritablement à celle du quartier de La Défense... L'accueil est assuré par une dame et ses fils très accueillants et aux petits soins pour que notre séjour se passe parfaitement et fournissant de précieux conseils pour les excursions à réaliser dans les parages. Côté cuisine, c'est également super : charcuterie maison hors du commun, plats typiques corses (sautés de porc et de boeuf, cannelloni au brocciu), hamburger Corse, fromages fermiers et flan corse.
