Restaurant Le Santa Manza — Restaurant in Sartène

We probably haven't met such unpleasant staff anywhere, the owner hates customers who comes by campervan and makes it quite obvious. I can't evaluate the food, because we left due to the unpleasant atmosphere. ATTENTION TO ALL WHO COME BY CAMPERVAN!!! Don't stay here overnight, in the morning you could find out that your tires are punctured or three men will visit you at night and destroy your car by throwing stones (that happened to us, crazy experience, felt like in developing country). There is no evidence that events that happen here are related to this crazy owner but i would say it is more than a strange coincidence. I have bump into other reviews at Tripadvisor and ParkForNight that share simillar experience, unfortunately too late. Must say this experience totally changed our feeling of Corsica.

At the same time, it would be enough to place a sign prohibiting the parking of campervans, if this is such a problem for the owner. Or is it a pleasure for someone to...

My partner and I were attacked completely without reason by the owner of this restaurant. Fortunately, it was only verbal violence, but he almost physically assaulted us. We wanted to take a walk along a trail that starts next to the restaurant—a trail marked on Wikiloc. So we passed by the restaurant, and he started shouting brutally, simply saying it was private property. Another guest was about to explain to us the right path to take, but the owner wouldn’t let him speak. We didn’t say anything else because he was ready to hit us; he even threw a chair. We left scared and stunned. Truly a rude and dangerous person.

Mon compagnon et moi avons été agressés sans aucune raison par le propriétaire de ce restaurant. Heureusement, ce n’était que violence verbal, mais il a failli nous agresser physiquement. Nous voulions faire une promenade sur un sentier qui commence à côté du restaurant – un sentier indiqué sur Wikiloc. Nous sommes donc passés à côté du restaurant et il a commencé à crier de manière brutale, disant simplement que c’était une propriété privée. Un autre client était sur le point de nous expliquer le bon chemin à prendre, mais le propriétaire ne l’a pas laissé parler. Nous n’avons rien ajouté car il était prêt à nous frapper; il a même lancé une chaise. Nous sommes donc partis effrayés et abasourdis. Vraiment une personne rude...

Very good food and very nice evening. But be careful. Prices tend to be very high especially for tourist who cannot speak french very well. Fresh fish of the day is 8€/100 gramms. We payed 9,60 and according to the owner, the fish had one kilo. This seems not true and at the end on our two plates were less than 250 grams each, in other words more than the half of the fish you cant eat... 1000 gramms were very unlikely. Paid around 30...
