Bistroglo — Restaurant in Saumur

This restaurant says that they are the place for à boir, et à manager. But no. This is not true.

We came during lunchtime and we just wanted to drink something and sitting in the relaxing chairs outside. No one served us and after sitting there for a while I went in to order. The waitress told us that just having a drink was not possible. She was too busy.

We kept sitting in the relaxing chairs. After a while the waitress came by again and told us again the same reason why we could not drink anything. "We had to come back later". With other words... I rather prefer you to leave.

This waitress had twice the time to tell us that we couldn't get a drink, but she has no time to get the order and be serviceable. With lunch she cannot handle the the stress. This restaurant is totally...

The food was good, just good, exactly 3 optins for the main dish, some side dishes and a nice warm bread.

The cave is packed with big spiders, had to kill 3of them in the bathroom for my gf. The entire restaurant smells a little mouldy. I would strongly sugest if you choose this restaurant to stay outside ( i didnt because it was raining ).

Nous avons réservé une table pour 3 personnes samedi 16 août pour 20h dans ce restaurant spécialisé en fouées. Lors de la prise du menu, on nous annonce qu'il n y a plus de galipettes (champignons farcis); à la place deux petits toast de chèvre chaud avec salade. En pleine saison, un samedi soir et dans une région touristique; plus de champignons avec les trois farces proposés au menu (tradition locale)...très limite ! Concernant le plat choisi parmi trois propositions et fourni avec des fouées; les quantités sont insuffisantes. Le verre de vin au prix moyen de 4.50 euros est inférieur à10 cl. Nous n'avons pas pris de dessert et sommes partis. Le restaurant était pratiquement vide à notre départ (vers 21h). Habitants de la région de Saumur, c'est la première fois que nous sommes autant déçus d'un restaurant spécialiste des fouées tant sur le menu que sur les prix pratiqués. Passez votre chemin; d'autres restaurants vous satisferont pour apprécier les produits...
