This was our first time here, we came over from the hotel because of an amazing picture on Google. We didn't know what Savoy was before, but looked it up over dinner. I got La Savoyard crepe - onions, potatoes, and cheese, which was amazing and a very good sized portion, I wasn't able to eat it all. It also came with a generous salad with tasty dressing. Hubs got Le Berthoud - melted cheese with sweet wine mini potatoes, meat, salad, pickles, he ate all of it. I tried some of the melted cheese on bread, tasted like butter and heaven, I would definitely order this next time. Two friends got Gratinée à l'oignon - cheese and bread soup, they did not know before what they were ordering, but it was a big bowl, filled them up, and they liked it a lot. The host did not speak to us in English but was very kind, tried to help us with French food pronunciation, and even guessed what dessert my friend wanted off of hand motions and pointing. She got another waiter who spoke English to take our orders, he too was helpful, and coached us on pronunciation which we appreciated. I also got a cappuccino that was delightful, hubs got coffee ice cream since he thinks this region has the best. Beautiful interior, tablecloths, old wooden beams, nice evening lighting, great service, perfect food.

It is a rare ocassion for me rate a restaurant highest for all three parameters : Food, Service and Atmosphere. We went here for a team lunch. The restaurant was almost full around noon. I tried their fondue with mixed mushrooms and the swiss fondue , both were excellent. So far the best I ever had. Their home-made black-berry (Myrtelle in french) was superb too. I also tried their icecream dessert, again it was absolutely exceptional. Most importantly, they had a super quick service even when it was almost full. The ambience was great too, if you like the smell of cheese ofcourse. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy the real taste of fondue. :-)

Very cozy and nicely decorated restaurant specialized on raclette and fondue. As soon as you enter, the smell of cheese welcomes you. There are other items the menu as well, but not everything is available at all times. We tried raclette and fondue, they were amazing. The service was quite fast, prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly. I recommend you to make a reservation though.
