Restaurant A La Couronne — Restaurant in Thann-Guebwiller

We passed through the village en-route to Germany and decided to try the restaurant. It was a Saturday evening about 7-8pm.

We walked into the restaurant and were acknowledged by a waitress, but she didn't greet us or offer us a table. We waited around for a while, trying to catch the attention of a staff member, but no one seemed to notice us.

Eventually, we decided to sit down at a table. After several attempts to get someone's attention, we were finally able to order. To our surprise, the waitress told us there was no food available, even though other people were being served with food. We asked for some chips, but they said the table was needed for someone else and didn't offer an alternative inside. They seemed very unwelcoming so we just decided to leave...

Das Restaurant A La Couronne ist definitiv einen Besuch wert. Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal dort und bin jedes Mal von der kreativen und köstlichen Küche begeistert. Das Restaurant ist immer gut besucht, was ein deutliches Zeichen für die Qualität des Essens ist.

Die Bedienung im A La Couronne ist äußerst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und gut umsorgt. Das Personal ist stets bereit, Empfehlungen auszusprechen und auf individuelle Wünsche einzugehen.

Besonders beeindruckt hat mich jedoch die Auswahl an Nachtischen. Ich konnte einfach nicht widerstehen und habe den Eis Gugelhupf bestellt. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht! Der Gugelhupf war unglaublich lecker und ein wahrer Genuss für meinen Gaumen.

Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant A La Couronne nur wärmstens empfehlen. Das Essen ist kreativ und sehr gut, die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend und die Nachtische sind ein absolutes Highlight. Un vrai festin alsacien avec une touche de bonheur !

Quelle belle découverte que ce restaurant alsacien ! Dès l'entrée, l'ambiance chaleureuse et authentique nous plonge dans une atmosphère conviviale, presque comme chez mamie… mais avec un meilleur service !

La choucroute, généreuse et parfaitement équilibrée, nous fait voyager au cœur de l’Alsace. Pas trop acide, bien garnie, un vrai câlin dans l’assiette. Ensuite, la pièce de bœuf grillée, tendre à souhait, était sublimée par une sauce aux morilles absolument divine — à en lécher l’assiette (mais promis, on ne l’a pas fait… ou presque).

Et que dire de la tarte au citron meringuée ? Un dessert aérien, acidulé juste ce qu’il faut, avec une meringue légère comme un nuage… de plaisir. Honnêtement, si cette tarte était une personne, je l’épouserais.

Service impeccable, portions généreuses, et un rapport qualité-prix qui donne envie de revenir avant même d’être parti. Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe — continuez à nous...
