friendly and lively, great bar staff who all speak English. Nice Belgian and local beers, also have standard lagers and guiness for the less adventurous.

Returned last night for post lockdown beer and pizza. We were given a buoyant welcome by efficient bartender Will who served us with excellent beer. This was soon followed by tasty pizza cooked and served by Chris in the kitchen. Le National was recommended to us by a couple of unrelated folks before we travelled, so we thought we should try it for ourselves. We weren't disappointed. Great atmosphere, great food, great beer, great staff. Highly recommended. It’s the best pub in town and just this spring also got named best pub in the whole valley. The pizza’s all homemade are really nice and quite cheap for the value.
