Le Relais de la Chevrette — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

A place that was recommended by many vacation goers that have stopped in this area before. My friend and I gave it a try due to the fact it was close to St Paul en Chablais.

Food was outstanding along with the service provided by the waiter and the other staff. We went for as much cheese and meat as possible to enjoy the rustic feel of a cosy cabin with traditional foods. Cozy restaurant on the mountain, very nice cabin vibe. Great selections for food but we did not get to explore the options during this visit. We ordered the mushroom beef fillet with a side of Au Gratin. The food was cooked exactly as ordered and came out fast. We did not have a reservation and did not wait to be seated. Me and my friend tried this restaurant when on holiday from England, food was excellent, couldn't try the wine or other alcohol because we were driving unfortunately.

Service was very good and as it helped to have an American waiter who spoke better English than we did!

Would definitely return if it was in the area again.
