Restaurant La Grenouille du Marais — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

This restaurant is a really charming little place with very friendly service and well priced tasty food. We were lucky to get a table in the restaurant as we turned up without a booking for lunch on a snowy day. We were early which helped.

Several of us had the croziflette special which was delicious. The Croque Monsieur was also very tasty. I had a tarte tatin to finish and it was faultless. We had local Ibex beer and house rosé and they were great.

I'd recommend booking, especially on a bad weather day if you want to eat inside. The terrace is big so I expect it's less of an issue on...

We enjoyed the excellent tartiflette and vegetable soup after a long afternoon of cross country skiing. After realizing that we had no way of purchasing a lift ticket from Super Moraine to use the Zore chair back up the ridge, as the weather was starting to change, the owner's family was kind enough to offer us a drive back to Avoriaz....

Very good place. It worth the spot during mountain activities as they have a good menu when starving. Good choice to stop with kids, they have plentifull of ice cream as well.
