AFRIK’N GRILL — Restaurant in Torcy

I was skeptical at first when I saw that almost all of their reviews online were glorious. I thought maybe they were fake. We gave it a shot nevertheless and we didn’t regret it.

We bought food worth of about $75, nems au poulet, brochettes viande, cotelettes d’agneau…among other things. There was so much food that I was able to have the leftovers for lunch the next day. I liked them all but the cotelettes d’agneau was my favorite.

The lamb was so tender, tasty, and juicy. The only thing I would add is that the sauce serving is very small but it can be fixed by adding extra for 60 cents.

The place was clean with a simple decor that gives it a cozy feel. The staff was very friendly and professional. They mixed up my brochette order at first (brought me poulet brochette instead of brochette viande), but they gladly took it back and sent me the right order.

Amazing!! So surprised by the delicious flavors! We stopped in on the way out of town and we were surprised that this was our favorite meal all weekend. In and outside of the city!!

We got a little bit of everything and shared it all. We fought for bites from every dish. My children loved it all. Perfectly grilled juicy meat, wonderful rice, and sweet fried bananas!

Expérience catastrophique. Pour commencer il n’y a point de ticket arriver à la caisse, il se trompe de commande en nous donnant une commande contenant « du bissap blanc » pour que au final ce sois seulement du bubble tea sans perle, ensuite il nous ramène le plat totalement sorti du micro-ondes on dirait qu’il a été fait la veille. Une fois la commande récupérer un foutu sauce mafé noyer dans la sauce avec 2 bout de viande qui se batte en duel, nous nous demandons si c’est normal il sort mot pour mot en étant énerver « si vous en voulez plus fallait demander » alors qu’il oublie que le client est roi. Le patron arrive tout d’un coup il change de personnalité un coter un peu hypocrite quand même. Le mafe au poulet avec un peu de sauce mis seulement sur le poulet du riz pratiquement pas cuit en boule, un tieb croustillant avec un poulet totalement cramé on se demande si le nom n’étais pas plutôt « afri’k cramé » un foutu avec des cotes extrêmement dur comme du caoutchouc limite + appliquer sur le déco que sur la nourriture cela est très aberrant conseille fuyez surtout le soir il y a un afri’k evasion à coter qui est de loin meilleur que celui-ci si j’avais pu mettre un 0 étoiles je l’aurais...
