Nomade — Restaurant in Toulon

An extraordinary restaurant tucked away in Le Pradet in the South of France. I was the only vegan in our group of six and they prepared an exquisite gourmet meal on the spot with flavors and textures I had never before experienced. The choices on the regular menu were top of the line as well. The atmosphere was like being in your friend’s home with impeccable taste consisting of eclectic art on the walls and throughout including the artistic decor in restroom. This was a lovely experience all around. Was able to reach someone to make reservations during the time the restaurant is closed and only a day ahead (both are a first for the area during August visit)

We were offered to take our aperitifs on a beautiful rooftop patio lounge. Once we were ready, we were taken to out table in the dining area in the courtyard

The cocktails and the food were absolutely delicious.

Upon arrival was absolutely charmed by the location but was unfortunately disappointed when the first amuse-bouche came in. A far too salty but bland carrot purée, almost as if it had been unfrozen from a supermarket store. The main courses (which should have been top-notch considering their prices, 28€) were nothing to write home about.
