Staying overnight at a nearby campsite and went out to see what the small town of Arcis Sur Aube was like. Stumbled across Chez Bil'burger, menu looked OK, prices looked OK. By use of of my simple pigeon French and an understanding staff a table for 2 was secured. As described an "American themed" establishment. 2 meals ordered along with a bottle of rose. Well, portions were more than ample and I take a bit of filling up. My good lady soldiered on as best as she could but was defeated by her last few fries, so.of course I had to finish them. The food was gorgeous. Artisnal breads, with a generous helping of salad accompanying the cheese and bacon burger I had ordered. A deceptive portion of hand cut fries including skin. Very pleased we chose to walk into this burger restaurant where Julie and her colleague welcomed us. The quality of the bacon/cheese burger, the bread and the fries was outstanding.
