Never give up and stay off the beaten paths. We wanted to have some "galettes / crepes" for lunch, but the place was full ... so we went right next door to the 1884... and what a delightful surprise. This place is on the historical main road at Le Bono that leads to the old bridge crossing the river. And the place is named 1884 because the original house was built in 1884. We were given a heartwarming greeting by the "patron" who explained to us what was on the daily menu. Everything was fresh, most of it locally produced..... and bloody delicious ! That day was served their version of the "morgat" fish amorican style (prepared with cognac and tomatoes)...and desser was creme Breizh ... basically delicious originality. Great food, great welcome ! .... thank you...

But next time we’re in the region we will pay her a visit again, for sure!
Best regards, The two very wet cyclists...
