We were an English speaking group and there were English speaking waiters but our table was carried by only-french speaking waitress. She didn't have a clou what we were asking and ordering. The kitchen forgot about our starters and after one hour of waiting we received main dishes. The manager was "sorry" but she didn't mean it at all. Ones she told that the chef forgot about our order but the other time she apologized that the kitchen had been closed few moments ago and we could have only desserts. We had to wait for a long time and ask for everything multiple times unless they did that. I'm aware that French people don't speak English in general but it is unacceptable to lie to the customers, to ignore them and to treat them without respect. Read moreFriendly welcome. Should have spotted signs ,nobody in, no draught beer. If I'd been served this food at home we would have walked. I had the special of some undefined fish in a " Cassoulet" which the word average is doing it a favour. The wife had the fish and chips from the somewhat limited menu ( Usually a good sign as they aren't trying to do too much) . Read moreLe service est correct et plutôt rapide. Le burger est simple, avec une viande tout à fait convenable et une généreuse dose de cheddar bien fondant. Côté frites, en revanche, petite déception de mon côté : je les ai trouvées un peu fades, mais c’est peut-être simplement une question de goût. Elles semblent fraîches, sûrement pour donner une touche maison. Personnellement, si ce ne sont pas de vraies frites maison, je préfère les frites allumettes, plus croustillantes et goûteuses à mon palais.
Le cadre est « plutôt sympa »… en tout cas, original ! Installé juste sur un rond-point, on profite d’une vue panoramique sur la circulation locale. Heureusement, il n’y avait pas trop de passage ce jour-là.
Petit bémol au moment de l’addition : pas de tickets restaurant, ni de chèques vacances ANCV acceptés. L’équipe nous explique que le restaurant a ouvert en mai et qu’ils n’ont pas encore eu le temps de mettre ça en place. On comprend que les débuts sont parfois chargés, mais en plein été, c’est dommage — surtout quand on est nombreux à compter sur ces moyens de paiement pour se faire plaisir sans trop entamer le budget vacances.
En résumé, une expérience honnête, mais quelques ajustements pratiques...
