Restaurant Punjab indien — Restaurant in Versailles

I got a chance to try Punjab today, as we are from subcontinent we don't really try indian food outside because the taste doesn't match our taste buds from back home! Hahaha But it is good to experience- We tried their set up midi one with chicken masala and saffron rice. We had an extra lamb briyani too! Starter we had a tandoori chicken! Very presentation and decent quantity. The tandoori chicken was decent with a normal taste not something very extra ordinary not spicy at all! It was good to eat in the pleasant weather. The cheese naan was beautiful fresh hot and nice! I enjoyed the naan. The chicken masala was not the best one it had a sweet taste keeping in mind the French audience I understand. The lamb briyani was very average just so so! Not flavourfull and the rice was sticky. I wi not come back for briyani! It was just very basic.

Pakistani tea was good and warm I enjoyed it with halwa and halwa was great not too sweet and had a nice warm taste! I will come back for tea and dessert probably and cheese naan!

The food is tasty and everything is fast the only issue and I found its strange, when I order any plate like chicken there is rice beside but when I ordered crevette ( shrimps) they give me only shrimp without anything besides and if I want rice or salad it's extra , honestly I didn't like this concept but the shrimp was tasty as well.

So if I want to eat chicken I will come again but if I want to eat shrimp I will choose...

C'est mon épouse, qui connaît ce restaurant, et qui m'y a entrainé. L'intérieur est bien décoré. Le restaurant est propre, très bien tenu et les tables bien disposées. Le personnel est au top ; les garçons sont attentifs et serviables. Le menu : Le choix est relativement limité par rapport à d'autres restaurants indiens, mais ici, c'est la qualité des menus et de la cuisine qui l'emporte. La carte est malgré tout plus que suffisante. J'ai goûté à quatre plats différents. Tous étaient parfaits. L'équilibre subtil entre les composants des plats est une réussite ; les épices n'écrasent pas les goûts et les quantités sont très correctes. On sort rassasié et heureux d'avoir fait un bon repas. Un grand bravo pour le Chef. Un autre bravo pour le personnel qui ne vous laisse pas attendre inutilement, même au moment du coup de feu, en semaine, vers 13 heures. Les prix pratiqués sont convenables pour ce niveau de cuisine. Le restaurant propose aussi des menus à prix raisonnables pour les employés des environs - il y a de nombreux bureaux et commerçants - qui désirent manger autre chose que des sandwichs sur le pouce.
