La Place — Restaurant in Vesoul

We visited Pesmes today on an impulse. We arrive there a little after lunchtime and saw several tables of people eating outside under the trees across the road from La Place. The spot looked very inviting and we decided that this was the place for all lunch. Quinton, the owner was a lovely host. He made us feel very welcome and was very attentive in serving us. I called the place and asked for a table - they told me that service was not possible but take away. So we walked there just to get to know that we have to wait for over 2hours for our take away pizza, that’s hilarious! Could have told me on the phone already. And seriously: how long does it take to make a pizza!?!? Very disappointing! That would never have...

An incredible find in a small village and seriously the best pizza I’ve had in ages. The owners/staff 🤷🏼‍♂️ were amazing and happy to chat to me in English because my French is so embarrassingly poor. 🤦‍♂️
