It was such a nice surprise! Totally recommend to all who like some simplicity and authenticity of French cuisine and atmosphere in a village. For us a tourist who lives in the Netherlands, this is a perfect place for stop over for a long journey to South of France ( Côte de Azur )
We’re a group of friends/ couples looking for somewhere to eat in the village. And we cross at this cafe bistro just on the corner.
Somehow we manage our French (very little) But luckily enough we met this man Eliás who helped us order our food. I think his a friend of the owner of this bistro.
He offered us, fish and salad. And the fish is whole sea bass with citroen and fries accompanied with mayo, ketchup mustard from Dijon. And a green leafy salad 🥗 with poached eggs, pancetta and croutons. I forgot to take a photo we are very hungry! 😋
The value of the meal is not bad too. I would say, it’s less than The Hague for sure.
Whole Seabass w/ fries - €20 Salad 🥗 with slice, tomato, croutons, poached eggs, and pancetta - €16 Rosé wine ( small bottle ) €9.00 Red wine per glass €2.00 White wine per glass €2.00 Beer on the...
