We absolutely adore this little gem of the restaurant that is L’effet Maison.

The quality and presentation of the food is of the highest quality, generally sourced locally or handpicked from nearby regions.

The enthusiasm and clear love of what they do here is also ever so present in their customer service, making you feel welcomed and almost part of the family.

This restaurant only seats up to 20 people, by their own choice, as it is a small family run business, so booking ahead is highly advisable.

We can’t recommend it enough, and are already looking forward to our next time here.

The food here was delicious, but the service was amazing. Our waitresses were so lovely and explained all the food to us in English. They were also so accommodating to my vegetarian diet and brought me some amazing vegetable dishes. We also had the 5 cheese board and were able to experience some local French cheeses.

We found this gem by chance, living in the area we have tried most of the local restaurants. This was a fabulous surprise, the service is wonderful and the food truly sublime.
