We stumbled across this delightfully different tea room which is an absolute treasure! A warm welcome and a warm tearoom ensures that your visit here will be a great one. We had paninis, salad and scones; along with tea and coffee. Everything was well presented and tasty, in a relaxed and charming atmosphere. Two dining rooms, an outdoor dining area and a beautiful little courtyard provides plenty of space and corners for everyone. A small play area with games to keep children happy, and shelves of books and games for adults, makes this a place to sit and enjoy for as long as you can stay! A wonderful find, the town was very quiet on a Saturday and a delight to find this superb tea room open the library was a loverly departure from the norm. A great log burner gave a super ambiance. Coffee, tea, panini’s and a sweet for three people at a little over €15 a head was good value. The staff were great and very accommodating, toilets nice and clean. Books available to loan or take. Un endroit où le temps s’arrête, dans lequel on se sent comme « à la maison ». Le lieu : bien situé, au cœur du village et sous les arcades pour un peu plus d’intimité. Les produits proposés : simples et hyper gourmands, les différents cafés et thés sont très réconfortants. Coup de cœur pour le thé matcha. Les pâtisseries sont variées et excellentes. Les décorations : apportent une atmosphère chaleureuse et unique, l’immense bibliothèque amène beaucoup de charme. Un véritable plaisir pour les lecteurs qui peuvent même acheter certains ouvrages. La propriétaire des lieux : à l’image de ce lieu unique, douce et chaleureuse. Les animaux : sont un vrai plus, apportent une touche supplémentaire de douceur, on se sent comme à la maison et toujours bien entouré. Bref, un lieu où il fait bon de s’arrêter encore et encore.
