Following a recommendation by friends, our first takeaway in France was at Brasserie Du Centre. We were very well received and made so welcome although lockdown food has to be taken away at present. The delicious sounding menu was on display and was fully explained to us by the delightful hostess. There was a choice of fixed menu or a handful of other items you could order and we were spoiled for choice as it all sounded delicious. As it was lunch we opted for a handmade pizza which (I have eaten all over the world) beat any italian pizza or any other pizza for that matter I've ever tasted and we regretted only ordering the one (see photo). The set menu has a range of choices which all sounded mouth watering and we WILL be going back not only to make our way through every pizza but through the set menu too. I am told the chef is award winning and he and the hostess deserve every success with this wonderful Brasserie. I recommend this as the best and THE ONLY place to eat if you are in this vicinity (or make a diversion and eat here!) and you will not be disappointed - we cannot wait to go...
