Read moreWe visited this wonderful place ex-promt and completely off season. Owner and the main man of the house, handled our visit personally. There are tea plantations right on the doors where you can pick up a tea leafs in the fields, listen, ask questions about farming and production, or simply chat about life freely. Afterwards explanation about differences in production process between green and black tea are done in their production facility inside. There is a tearoom or degustation place as well, where several types of cups are prepared right on your table, and owner explain many angles of whole process you can't imagine. Nice place to visit, where taste, quality, aroma and attitude they make are outstanding. Try tea tree oil as well, nice one. After degustation and visit, owner carried us back to the town by himself. I suggest to visit Taba Tea House. Good luck...
Read moreWe decided relatively spontaneously to visit a tea plantation in Guria, and Taba Tea was the best decision! Alex's father gave us a tour of the plantation and Alex himself explained a lot of interesting information about the history and process of tea production over the phone. It was very exciting to learn so much about the Georgian tea tradition and we really enjoyed the spirit that is carried on in the family! The teas we tasted were also available for purchase and we are very excited to share them with our friends! Thank you very much for everything! An absolute...
