Sesame — Restaurant in Kutaisi

If you would like to taste Georgian cuisine, you would better go to Sesam in Kutaisi. The place is always crowded. On some days the food is really amazing, on others simply good. But I will still recommend to dine there, especially if you are fond of Karaoke. You can sing and dance in the evenings there. They have really delicious veal barbecue but it takes time to get the order prepared. You would better go to Sesam with friends and spend a nice evening eating, drinking, chatting, singing and dancing there. You can even meet new people as many locals...

Had an entertaining evening here, they do need to work on their lighting, from outside the place seems closed, and inside it can be very cosy if they leave off the blue lights on the walls (which they occasionally turned off and on, don't know why). Also there was a dj that was playing sometimes out of the blue, some arguably very bad music which the locals did seem to enjoy a lot by the way. All in all: good night out, with delicious food. Very nice and cosy place. The lights are soft, the atmosphere is relaxing and positive. The live bands are performing from time to time in there. Food is tasty, the cuisine is quite variable. We tried Mexican potatoes, chicken cutlet Kiev style, caesar salad and garden salad georgian style with walnut sauce and some drinks. It was quite great.
