Café Belle Vue — Restaurant in Aachen

When we arrived after a 23 km hike, we were disappointed to find the cafe closed when it was supposed to be opened. We had planned to have a nice cup of coffee and perhaps a little snack there. As we sat down on the terrace to regain our breath, have a sip of water and enjoy the view, the owner shows up and starts yelling at us in typical German fashion. RAUS! RAUS! They made us move 2 times from our place (so we sat in 3 different places in total), and the second time we had to share a small table with other people. I also had to get off my seat twice and move my chair out of the way to let them pass since the place is very small and it was crowded. Eigentlich war alles sehr schön und lecker, aber bei allem Verständnis für Corona-Maßnahmen wurde hier aus meiner Sicht weit übertrieben. Obwohl die Tische draußen schon weit auseinanderstanden, wurden Gäste ständig lautstark zurechtgewiesen, selbst für die 3m über "freies Feld" vom Eingang zum Tisch eine Maske aufzusetzen. Eine Gruppe, die gerade mit Ihrem Fahrrad aufgebrochen ist, wurde noch hinterhergerufen, dass sie beim nächsten Mal gefälligst ihre Maske aufziehen sollen. Die Bedienung war ständig dabei, alle Tische und Stühle zu desinfizieren, während Gäste auf eine Parkposition auf der Wiese abgestellt wurden. Eine Gruppe Holländer wurde abgewiesen, weil sie keine Maske dabei hatten. Ihnen wurde von der Bedienung allerdings eine für je 1 € angeboten. In anderen Cafes bekommt man die im Notfall geschenkt. Grundsätzlich wurde 1 € Hygieneaufschlag pro Tisch berechnet. Ständig waren alle Gäste damit beschäftigt, diesem absurden Schauspiel zuzuschauen. Ein entspanntes Gespräch am Tisch kam kaum zustande. Auch schon deshalb nicht, weil die Getränke direkt abgerechnet wurden, während der Kaffee abkühlte und das Eis schmolz.
