It is so reassuring to see a clover on your way to the Nürburgring.

I came here on October 11 around 3pm and ordered the Schnitzel Jäger Art with Cream Sauce and Mushrooms at the outside ordering counter. The meal was ready in about 10 minutes to pick up and bring to my table.

It was a perfect balance of a crispy crust with a moist inside. Fries were also perfectly crispy and went really well with the cream sauce. The salad was nice to have to make yourself feel a little better about devouring everything else. This was the schnitzel that I had expected coming for my first time to Germany.

The best part was because it was a Monday afternoon, the ambience was everything that you could ask for - an quiet and airy outside table to sit at while you look at the beautiful greenery and the car that took you there.

I know I will come the next time I make a pilgrimage...

Man hat hier die Möglichkeit draußen und drinnen zu sitzen. Da wir im Herbst dort waren (die Temperaturen haben sich nicht so angeboten, dass man hätte gemütliche draußen sitzen können) haben wir uns nach drinnen gesetzt. Drinnen wurden wir von einem Herrn recht freundlich begrüßt und konnten uns einfach einen Tisch aussuchen.

Das Restaurant ist innen recht klein und hat deswegen wenig Tische. Was manchmal vom Vorteil, aber auch vom Nachteil sein kann. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Überall hängen schöne Bilder von Rennautos und deren Fahrern, teilweise mit Unterschrift. Wer sich für Motorsport begeistert, ist hier genau richtig.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Essen war in Ordnung. Das heißt, dass wir nichts schlechtes darüber sagen können.

Nur was an unserem ersten Abend dort recht nervig war, waren die Fruchtfliegen. Nachdem sich meine Lebensgefährtin einen Wein bestellt hat, waren wir regelrecht davon umzingelt. Hört sich jetzt sehr viel an, aber es waren nur etwas über 8 Stück. Beim Essen doch recht nervig.

Kinderfreundlich ist man hier auch, was uns sehr gefreut hat hat.

Eine negative Sache gibt es hier leider. Man kann nur mit Bargeld bezahlen. Im heutigen Zeitalter doch schon etwas blöd, aber wenn man es weiß ist es mit einplanbar.

Pizza 2/5 - do not recommend it. Schnitzel with pepper sauce 4/5 - I really liked it, not the best in my life, but very good, quite tender, no unpleasant surprises regarding the structure of the meat.
