I have been coming to the Bavarian region from Australia for the past 3 years and I couldn’t find a decent pizza anywhere, until I found Pizzeria Da Francesco in a small country town called Thundorf trough my Girlfriend. I Must say that Da Francesco pizzeria restaurant is very welcoming and with that al fresco Italian atmosphere. Francesco is a true gentlemen, as he’s very polite and respectful, his pizzas are up there with the best I ever had, Francesco and his wife put hard work and dedication to be successful, Francesco manicures his pizzas with art, precision and perfection and with what I have seen over the years, (having been a restaurant owner myself) Francesco has the capability to compete with the best pizza makers in the world. If you ever find yourself in the vicinity of Ainring you should definitely visit pizzeria da Francesco. The restaurant is very cozy, family oriented and a cute establishment sorrounded by nature. The owners are a lovely young couple,the food is amazing, you will eat authentic and traditional italian cuisine prepared with care and detail. The stuff is kind and will make sure you are well taken care of. They have an interesting choice of Calabrian digestives and all food is homemade.
