A neat rustic restaurant in a historic mill building. The interior is absolutely stunning with the placement of many historic items and use of the building structure as separation.

A locely location also for larger groups (~8 people). The service answered all our questions, regarding how which dish was prepared. The food is as fresh as can be. The fish was caught alive from the nearby stream and was on a plate within 20min. The Schnitzel is likewise hammered fresh and the spätzle are handmade.

The onion soup was rich and gave a strong cozy feeling. The pork tenderloin on a skewer was roasted to the point and neatly decorated. The trout was crispy on the outside, but tender on the inside. The portion sizes were exactly satisfying, so we didn't need any more.

Absolutely delicious, authentic local food made old school way. Place looks historic, with beautiful interior and lovely staff. We even took a walk to the little river ( full of trouts ) and the forest near by. I’m so glad that we drove trough country side instead on autobahn, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to discover this...

Was für ein fantastisches deutsches Restaurant! Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Das Personal war unglaublich aufmerksam und half sofort und ohne Zögern mit dem Rollstuhl, sodass wir uns von Anfang an wohlfühlten. Die Einrichtung versprüht den Charme einer gemütlichen deutschen Stube, mit warmen Farben und einer einladenden Atmosphäre.

Das Essen war schlichtweg hervorragend. Wir genossen ein perfekt gebratenes Schnitzel, eine köstliche Forelle, den herzhaften Mühlenspieß, zarte Rouladen mit Rotkohl und zum krönenden Abschluss zwei unvergessliche Desserts: Schwarzwäldertraum und hausgemachten Apfelstrudel. Alles war frisch, voller Geschmack und wunderschön angerichtet.

Alles fühlte sich einladend und gemütlich an – oder wie ich sagte, als ich saß: „Ich kann mich reinsetzen!". Hier schmeckt man nicht nur das Essen, sondern auch die Leidenschaft und Gastfreundschaft. Eine absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen auf jeden...
