Pommes Deluxe — Restaurant in Altenahr

Me and my friend came to this place to eat as we were driving by the place. We took a seat at one of the tables outside. From there we waited approx. 30min before other customers arrived. Only then did the waitress started to take orders. She started with all the other tables although we arrived well before all of them. Upon taking a new order, the people seated at that table notified the waitress that we were waiting long before them. Regardless, she decided to ignore that comment and proceed with the order. At that point we just left… Germans have the reputation to be friendly and polite but this behaviour showed...

Food was very good! The prices were very low but you still got a lot of food. I got a small fries with my curry wurst, thinking I would just get small side of fries like you get in restaurants. But my intire plate was covered with fries! And of course it tasted delicious as well! The staff was friendly and the toilets were very clean. The only downside was the very many wasps, but the wasps were only outside so if that is a problem for you, you can always sit inside. Would definitely come back for more...

Heute, 01.11.2022, hatte ich das Tagesgericht ( incl.Beilagensalat ) bestellt und gefragt, ob es möglich ist, bei dem Beilagensalat Blattsalat wegzulassen. Mir wurde gesagt, dies sei kein Problem. Beim Bezahlen wurde mir dann zusätzlich ein kleiner Salat berechnet. Ich wies darauf hin, dass dies nicht stimmt. Die Chefin erklärte mir dann NACHTRÄGLICH, angeblich wäre dann ein zusätzlicher kleiner Salat gem. Karte zu berechnen. Ich erwiderte, dass dies nicht korrekt ist, weil man das VORHER dem Gast erklären muss. DIE CHEFIN SELBST hatte das aber so angeordnet und erwiderte recht schnippisch, SIE sei die Chefin und das wäre korrekt. Nach einer kurzen Diskussion wurde dann der zusätzlich - unberechtigt - berechnete kleine Salat storniert. Die Herausgabe des korrigierten Kassenbons wurde mir jedoch verweigert. Dass "Chefin-Sein " als Rechtfertigung für unberechtigte Berechnungen genügen soll, finde ich erstaunlich. Bisher habe ich dort mind. 2x wöchentlich gegessen. Zukünftig werde ich das nicht mehr. Das teilte ich der Chefin auch mit, die nur meinte, auf mich als zahlenden Gast nicht agewiesen zu sein. Soviel Arroganz muss belohnt werden.
