The food was good but nothing special. It's a little pricey for what you get. The service was good and friendly which makes up for the average food. For the location I can't really decide if I liked it or not. The river Alz is very nearby, so you could go for a swim or, if the water is high enough, take the ferry. The "Biergarten" was nice and quiet but a little boring, since it was in the middle of nowhere and there was nothing to look at, no scenery etc.. It still was a pleasant experience. Seit Kindesalter an sind wir dort regelmäßig zu besuch, teilweise mehrmals pro Woche. Das aktuelle Konzept liegt uns besonders und wir sind froh so ein Lokal in unserer Nähe zu haben. Regionale, saisonale, frische Produkte werden dort wertgeschätzt und für diese zahlen wir gerne angemessene Preise. Selbstgemachte Schorlen, Kuchen, bunte Salate, hochwertiges Fleisch, frischer Fisch und vegetarische Gerichte sind jederzeit zu finden. Ab und zu dauert die Getränkebestellung etwas länger, aber das Serviceteam besteht nicht nur aus Profis sondern aus netten freundlichen Menschen die halt auch noch etwas dazu lernen müssen, außerdem haben wir ja wohl alle genug Zeit. Jegliche Kritik an dieser Lokalität ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Wer ein Plätzchen zu verweilen sucht, einen Ort den es so schnell nicht mehr zu finden gibt, wo man noch ehrliches Essen und einen urigen Biergarten findet, sollte sich mal hier umschauen.
